Scaffold Finder is operated by Nitro Digital Pty Ltd (ABN 14 642 239 567). This page explains what personal information we collect, why, how long we keep it and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

If you search or call a business

You don't need an account to search. When you tap a call button we count the tap against that listing so the business can see how many calls it gets. We don't record your phone number, IP address or any other detail about you for this.

If you send a quote request

We collect the details you enter: your name, phone, email, the suburb and details of the job, and any photos. We store them and email them to the one business you chose, so they can contact you. We don't sell them or send them to anyone else. Photos are kept in private storage, and the business gets links that stop working after 30 days.

If you register interest in featuring

Before paid featuring opens, businesses can register interest. We collect the name, email and phone you enter so we can contact you about featuring, and for nothing else.

If you run a listed business

Listings are built from details the business publishes on its own website and from public business registers, such as the business name, phone, website, suburb, services and areas covered. Many scaffolding businesses are sole traders, so some of these details are personal information. When we send your business a quote request, it goes to the email address your business publishes, and that address is kept private rather than shown on the site.

If you claim your listing, we store the details you add and any licence or insurance documents you upload. Documents stay private and are only seen by us to check them. To correct your listing or have it removed, claim it or email hello@scaffoldfinder.com.au.

Payments

If you pay to feature your business, payments are handled by Stripe. We don't see or store your card number.

Cookies and spam protection

We use one cookie, and only for business owners who sign in to manage a listing. It keeps you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser and IP address to stop spam.

How long we keep it

We delete quote requests, their photos, copies of emails we've sent and featuring sign-ups 12 months after they're made. Claims that weren't completed are deleted after 12 months. We keep the record of who manages a claimed listing for as long as the listing is claimed. Payment records are kept by Stripe for as long as the law requires.

Service providers and overseas processing

We use Cloudflare to host the site and store data, Resend to send emails, Cloudflare Turnstile to stop spam on forms, and Stripe for payments. They process information on our behalf. Resend and Stripe process information in the United States, and Cloudflare may process it in other countries where it runs its network.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@scaffoldfinder.com.au. If you have a privacy complaint, email us first and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our reply, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
